Boxley Hand Bell Ringers

Hand Bells

Formed in 2006, “Boxley Handbells” meets weekly, on Wednesday or Thursday, from 8.00 p.m. to 9.45 p.m., usually in Boxley Church Hall, The Street, Boxley, but occasionally on other days and times or at other venues according to need.

The main aim of “Boxley Handbells” is to share with like-minded people the pleasure of handbell ringing, both by learning to play music to an acceptably high standard, and by performing to others.

“Boxley Handbells” welcomes anyone interested in handbell ringing to come along and give it a try. The team rings from sheet music (staff notation), but the ability to read music is not necessary before coming along, just the ability to count and differentiate red from blue!  The first visit is free of charge; subsequently a small subscription fee is payable at each attendance.
